Keith Nathanel Prillaman

Keith Nathanel Prillaman, 83, of Axton, Virginia, passed away on January 28, 2026, at SOVAH Health in Martinsville, Virginia. He was born on April 2, 1942, in Virginia to the late Ivis Beechem Prillaman and Phebe Adaline Bowles Prillaman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie Ayers Prillaman, and his daughter, Linda Louise Prillaman.

Keith was a dedicated truck driver for over 40 years and ended his long career with Great Coast. He worked in the trucking industry for many years and took pride in his profession. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and television and especially loved sharing stories about his time on the road as a truck driver.

He is survived by his son, Ivis Prillaman; his grandchildren, Courtney Smith (Brett) and Ivis Nathaniel Prillaman, Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Avery Smith and Dahlia Smith. He also leaves to cherish his memory many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Keith will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of storytelling, and his passion for the open road.
