Kelli Christine (Dameron) Greco

June 29, 1970 - March 9, 2024

On Saturday, March 9th, 2024, our most cherished, Kelli Christine Dameron Greco left us surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Formerly of Beckley, Kelli has made her home in Moneta, Virginia in more recent years. Born on June 29th, 1970, in Charleston, West Virginia, Kelli was the beloved daughter of Roy Douglas and Sue Atwell Dameron of Moneta.

Kelli grew up in Beckley, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School and Concord College. She was a dedicated school teacher in Raleigh County and Moneta school systems for over 25 years. A member of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church, she was the first director of the pre-school, when it was established. She enjoyed being active in Bible school and church camps with her church family.

Kelli spent her free time doing the things she loved best, spending time with her kids, Hunter and Hannah. She enjoyed fishing with her Dad and brother, Scott on Smith Mountain Lake and traveling all over the world, experiencing new places with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kelli is survived by her loving children, son, Hunter Greco of Beckley and daughter, Hannah Greco of Charlotte, North Carolina; she was the dear sister of Scott (Lori) Dameron of Moneta.

It was Kelli's explicit wishes that her services be private. She will be laid to rest beside her paternal grandparents in Sunset Memorial Park.

And now our sweet Kelli, precious daughter, dear sister and loving mother has gone to fish with the greatest fisherman of all time, our Lord and Jesus Christ. We loved you but God loved you best...
