Kenneth Spicer

Mr. Kenneth Cline Spicer, age 87, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Spicer was born November 30, 1935 in Low Moor, the son of the late Normen Spicer and Bessie Craft Spicer. He was employed by the Homestead for a number of years before his retirement. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets.
Mr. Spicer is also survived by a son, Kenneth Spicer of White Sulphur Springs, WV; two daughters, Helen Mugnone of North Carolina and Norma Husaw of Virginia; a stepson, John Defibaugh of Caldwell, WV; his partner of over thirty years, Ruby Bond; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Spicer was preceded in death by a son, Russell Spicer; two brothers, Robert Spicer and Warren Spicer; and two sisters, Frances Loan and Lula Belle Persinger.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Pastor Defibaugh officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
