Kenny Wayne Craig

Kenny Wayne Craig, 53, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Sovah Health – Martinsville. He was born on August 6, 1971, in Bassett, Virginia, to the late Frank and Mattie Craig. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene “Doc” Bailey, and his brother, Ronnie “Runt” Craig.

Kenny had a passion for riding his Harley whenever he had the chance. He cherished time with his family and loved hosting cookouts with them and his many close friends. He was blessed with an abundance of friendships and had a deep love for children. The birth of his granddaughter brought him immense joy. Kenny was also a devoted member of the Trash Ministry Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Craig; two daughters, Wendy Corns of Oregon and Marrissa (Gary) of Weatherford; his cherished granddaughter, Penelope “Poppy” Weatherford of Washington; his brother, Danny Craig of Bassett, Virginia; and three sisters, Carolyn Lawless of Patrick County, Virginia, Frances Shelton of Bassett, Virginia, and Becky Lawson of Patrick County, Virginia. He is also survived by special family members Tim “Bo” and Tabitha of Bassett, Virginia, along with their daughters, Yaya and Bri of Florida, and a dear friend, Jerry Mosley of Bassett, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
