Kevin Andrew Exner

Kevin Andrew Exner, 30, of Gretna passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Born January 16, 1996, in Wake County, NC, he was the son of Greg and Diane Exner. Kevin was a graduate of Arizona State University, earning his bachelor’s degree with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2024. He was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church and was active with the youth department, enjoying assisting in preaching. He participated in the marching band with LCA and with Liberty University as a euphonium and trombone player. He enjoyed music both on and off the field. Kevin was also an avid reader and loved to play video games. He was a beloved man, and son, and will be forever missed.

Kevin is preceded in death by his brother Michael Exner; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Moldenke; maternal grandfather Edward Moldenke; and paternal grandmother Tiny Exner.

Those left to cherish Kevin’s memory include his parents, Greg and Diane Exner; maternal grandmother, Janice Moldenke; paternal grandfather, Alvin Exner; uncles, Scott Werthman and wife Debra, Tom Exner and wife Pam; aunts, Lori Albrecht and husband John, Stephanie Houdek and husband Jeff, and Marie Exner; his step-brother Todd Moldenke and his wife Lisa; and numerous other family members and friends.
