Kevin John Daly

On August 13th 2023, Kevin John Daly passed away peacefully after a long battle with esophageal cancer. Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Duke-Daly; and his step-children, Shaun, Missy, and Rob. Kevin was a jovial and playful "PopPop" to Michaela, Gavin, Keyanna, Kieran, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Dorothy Daly; as well as his children, Carrie and Ryan Daly. Kevin was a kind and loving pet owner and was also preceded in death by two of his best friends, Boo and Cooley. There will be some very spirited games of "Stickey" across the rainbow bridge forthcoming.

Kevin was always quick with a smile and a joke or prank, usually a bad one. He loved to laugh and make people laugh. He cherished being a "PopPop" and laughter always abounded from Kevin and his grandchildren as they fed the dogs from their plates behind MeMe's back, tried to lick each other’s eyeballs, or sang the "Meatball" song together.

Kevin was an avid sports fan, especially the NY Giants as a youth and the Washington Redskins once he married Debbie. Kevin was heavily involved in youth sports while his children were growing up, often volunteering for and/or coaching the teams. He was a voracious reader, in addition to being an author. He had a true thirst for knowledge and enjoyed beating all the jumbles and crossword puzzles in the daily newspaper. His happy place was the beach. He loved the ocean and loved to be in the water, body surfing while his health would allow it. He always had room for a Rum runner, and Jimmy Buffet or Meatloaf would be on the radio in the background. Kevin loved and was loved by many, and he will truly be missed.
