Kevin Lee Whitlow

Kevin Lee Whitlow, 58, of Christiansburg, Va passed away suddenly on March 16, 2025. Kevin graduated from Christiansburg High School in 1985 and served in the Army after high school. Kevin was a people person and a talker, he never met a stranger. Everyone who came in contact with him, instantly loved him. He loved music, being outdoors, working with his hands, helping people, and spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He liked to tinker around and could do about anything. Most of all, he loved his mother. Kevin had his share of trials and tribulations but overcame them and finally started living the life he desired and envisioned for himself for so long. Kevin was survived by his mother Mona Chandler; his children Matthew Whitlow (Danielle), Keisha Keith (Clayton), Jessie Whitlow; his grandchildren Lucas, Kaylee, Henry, Chase, Oliver, Layla, Gabriel, and Skyla; Siblings, Randy Whitlow (Holley), Sherry Hollandsworth (Andrew), Samantha Whitlow, George Whitlow (Kathy); nephews, Christian, Andrew Douglas, Cameron, Edan, and Eli; special aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his father George Whitlow, his step father Fred Chander, his sisters Lesa Whitlow, Amber Whitlow, and Joy Whitlow. The family will gather Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 4-5 pm and receive friends from 5-7 pm at New Hope Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at New Hope Church of God (Christiansburg, Va) with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating, burial/graveside following at New Zion Cemetery, Elgood WV.
