Kimberly Marie Simms

Kimberly Simms, 57, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Sovah Health Martinsville. She was born on October 31, 1966, in Woodbridge, Virginia, to the late Richard Paxton and Hazel Paxton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Paxton.

Kimberly was employed by Results, Inc. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays, preparing large meals for everyone to enjoy. Her only grandchild, Marie, was dear to her heart. She enjoyed computer video games, especially on Facebook. She enjoyed her fur baby.

Kimberly is survived by her three sons, Joshua Simms, David Simms, and Timothy Simms; one granddaughter, Marie Simms, and her mother, Miranda Turner; two brothers, Mark Paxton and Lonnie Paxton; and a host of other family members and friends.
