Kimberly Presson

August 21, 1998 - September 27, 2025

Kimberly Kay Presson, born on August 21, 1998, in Vicksburg, MS went to her eternal home on September 27, 2025, in Marion, Virginia. Kim Bob as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. Kim is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Jaudon Presson, Grandmother Wanda Hobkirk, brothers Michael Presson, Jr. (Bekki Presson), Joey Presson, Joshua Presson (Julia Presson), and Connor Presson; sisters Candice Presson and Makayla Presson and her birth mother Tina Tally. She also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored her dearly. Among them are Janice and Doug Hendrix, Cathy Lowe,  Tommy and Ellen Presson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who shared in her joyful spirit as well as her fiancée Tyler Wiles. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Robert A. Hobby Hobkirk, paternal grandparents William T. and Mary E. Presson, grandmother Sharon Kay Hendricks and her favorite Uncle Bruce Hobkirk who had a special place in Kim’s heart. Those who knew Kim will remember her for her infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.  A memorial service is being planned at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics in Kim’s memory.
