Kinberly Dawn Gray

Kimberly Dawn Gray, 57, of Goodview, Virginia, passed away peacefully on the evening of July 25th at 6:30 PM, surrounded by those who loved her most. Kim was born in Roanoke Virginia on April 17th, 1968. Kimberly was known for her fiery soul, bold spirit, and spitfire attitude — a woman who lived unapologetically and fiercely loved her family. Her strength, wit, and unshakable determination left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Kim spent many years providing care, love, and support to those in her community while employed as a CNA for in-home care.

Kim is preceded in death by her father Donald Lee Gray and her grandson Beau Lee Wayne Fisher. Left to cherish her memory is her oldest daughter Melonie Renae Fisher, Jayden; son Paris Chancellor Fisher (Peyton), Luke; youngest daughter Brionna Lavon Ensor; her mother Melonie Joy Gray; her brother and sister, Greg and Candy; and a host of other family members. Kim also leaves behind many special friends that she held a close and lasting friendship with.

Kimberly’s presence was a force — unforgettable and unfiltered. She was someone who could make you laugh when you needed it most, stand her ground with grace, and love with a passion that was both fierce and loyal. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her spirit, strength, and unforgettable energy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at Lotz’s Funeral Home Vinton Chapel and Cremations on Sunday August 3rd from 6:00-8:00 PM. In honoring Kimberly, we remember a woman who never backed down, who loved loudly, and who will forever be missed.
