Kyle Michael Hanna

Kyle Michael Hanna, age 43, of Malone NY passed away in Salem, Va on the morning of December 11th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kyle was born on May 10th, 1980 in Saranac Lake, Ny to Michael and Maureen (Fitzpatrick) Hanna. Kyle graduated in 1998 from Franklin Academy High School. After graduating Kyle pursued a career in Carpentry which allowed him to travel the country living the life he loved. Kyle had a laid back approach to life and because of this people were drawn to him wherever his adventures took him. Kyle was the epitome of a rolling stone, never staying in one spot long enough to grow moss. Among his many interests Kyle was passionate about music.

Kyle’s life calling was to connect and help others in their life journey.  He was a deeply spiritual man with strong convictions, strong faith and a determination rarely seen; a true old soul.  He was a brother to many and a fiercely loyal friend.  He would shine his light in the darkest of places, showing compassion to the shunned and embracing the outcast.  His carefree approach to life in all it’s glory and strife, along with his amazing sense of humor, will be deeply missed.

Kyle settled down in 2015 after meeting his life partner and soul mate, Karen. Together, along with their beloved dachshund Izzy, they built a life filled with happiness.

Kyle is survived by his partner, Karen Hensley, as well as his parents Michael and Maureen Hanna of Malone; his sisters, Jessica (Scott) Dibble, Lisa (Julie) Hanna; his Niece Leah, and Nephews Evan, Liam and Austin.

Kyle leaves behind many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins along with many friends he made along the way.

A celebration of life is planned for the Spring and will be announced at a later date.
