Lacy Edmond Frazier, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, of Narrows, Virginia passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, in Salem, VA in the care of Davis and McDaniel Veterans Care Center, at the age of 88. Born on August 29, 1936, in Bluff City, Virginia, to the late Josiah David Frazier and Gertrude Blankenship Frazier, Lacy's life was marked by his unwavering spirit, dedication to his country, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Lacy proudly served his nation in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, a testament to his deep sense of patriotism and duty. After his distinguished military service, he continued to serve his community as a wastewater treatment contractor for the Town of Narrows, where his work ethic and expertise were highly valued.

Lacy was a man of many interests and simple pleasures. He was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, delving into various genres that broadened his knowledge and sparked conversation. He enjoyed watching "Jeopardy" and challenging himself with the trivia questions, a testament to his love for learning and keen intellect. Lacy's competitive spirit shone through during lively bingo games, where he was both a formidable opponent and a gracious companion. He also found joy in the simple pleasure of a meal at his favorite K&W Cafeteria, where he appreciated the comfort of familiar flavors and the company of friends.

Family was the cornerstone of Lacy's life, and he is survived by his loving brothers, Roy Frazier and Billy Frazier. He held a special place in his heart for his niece, Kimberly Bray, and nephews, Brian Bray, Tyler Bray, and Dylan Bray, who will remember their uncle for his kindness, stories, and the wisdom he imparted. Lacy's legacy also lives on through several other nieces and nephews, who will miss his presence dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Loretta Turner, Genevieve Stegar, Mildred Caldwell, Norma Gray Frazier, Patricia Martin, Jerry Frazier, and Arnold Frazier, with whom he is now reunited.

Lacy will be remembered for his unwavering integrity, his generous heart, and the steadfast love he had for his family and country. His departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
