Lana Snead

Lana Jane Gallagher Snead, age 73, of Main Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, July 7, 2024 at the Alleghany Health and Rehab Center, Clifton Forge.

She was born November 24, 1950 in Ohio to the late Harold Gallagher and Helen Gettes Savage. She was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Snead; four brothers, John, Charles, David and Dennis Gallagher.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Ely (Louis), Christy Gibson both of Covington and Lauri Benedict of Fuvana County; a son, Jimmy Sweeney (Shelly) of Ohio; two brothers, Kevin and Jim Gallagher both of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Shaelee, Courtney, Jaime, Michelle, Abigail, Matthew, Crystal (Billy), and Cynthia (Cory); twelve great grandchildren, Zachary, Addlynn, Janette, Elli, Aubrey, M.J, Kyrn, Raylynn, Braxton, Khlo, Shawn, and Kiara; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. No formal services are scheduled.
