Larry Gene Pyron

Larry Gene Pyron, age 66 passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Pyron was born November 24, 1957 in Danville, Virginia to the late Gene Pyron and the late Stella Pruitt Pyron. He was married to Tamara Godfrey Pyron.Mr. Pyron was retired from Dan River Mills as an electrician. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew him.In addition to his beloved wife of the residence, he is survived by one daughter, Amy P. Jones (IC); one son, Scott Pyron (Jenny Myers); four grandchildren, Kalie, Jayce, Mckinley, and Scott Wayne, Jr.; and one brother, Barry Pyron.A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel, 511 Church Avenue, Danville, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 2:00 p.m. also at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel with Pastor Richard Motley officiating. Burial will follow at Schoolfield Cemetery, Danville, Virginia.At other times, the family will be receiving friends and family at the residence.Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel is serving the family.
