Larry Wayne Overstreet

Larry Wayne Overstreet Sr., 63, of Henry, Virginia passed away on March 1st, 2026 at Lewis Gale Medical Center. Larry was born on December 30th, 1962 in Roanoke to the late Larry F. Overstreet and Rosemary Henegar-Overstreet. He was proceeded in death by the mother of his three youngest children Kimberly Prillaman, his son Andrew (Andy) Overstreet, and a host of late family members. 
Larry was known as Dad, Grandpap, Buddy, and many other names. He was a graduate at Patrick Henry High School. He was a family man, he loved his family and took pride in it. He was a man of his word. He worked at many places doing masonry and factory production. He loved fishing in the summer time and making snow cream in the winter. He lived a long, eventful, and careful life. 
Larry is survived by his three children Larry Overstreet Jr and wife Destiny Overstreet of Henry, Sally Overstreet and Fiance Alex Brown of Henry, and Sheila Overstreet of Henry; his four grandchildren Larry W. Overstreet III (Lilman), Cory Overstreet, Mason Overstreet, and Dixie Overstreet; his sisters, Angela Ashby and husband Steve, Amanda Aldridge, Brittany Hayes and husband Will, Leigh Overstreet, Crystal Overstreet, Melanie Overstreet, Leslie Sweazea; his brothers, Travis Overstreet, Kevin Overstreet, Dusten Overstreet; along with his dog Buddy.
