Lawrence Laprad

Lawrence Morris Laprad, 94, of Radford formerly of Roanoke County passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was a son of the late Willie Morris Laprad and Serrelda Miller Laprad. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Brooks Laprad and a son Larry “Buck” Laprad.

Surviving are his daughter, Linda Asbury and husband, Brent; grandchildren, Jason Asbury and wife, Ashley and Brittney Bright and husband, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Harper Bright; special friend and caregiver, Ruth Miller; and many friends he made while at Commonwealth Senior Living.
The family would like to thank Intrepid Hospice for all the care, love and support for Lawrence.

A graveside service celebrating Lawrence’s life will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Neil Turner officiating.
