Leland Francis Dittman

Leland "Lee" Dittman Sr. D.Min., born on November 27, 1940, passed away leaving a legacy of faith and dedication. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lenore (Sadtler), his son Lee Jr., and daughter Lisa Fowler (Steve). He was a cherished grandfather to Heather Ribeiro (Paul), Mikayla Dittman, Stephen Fowler Jr. (Randi), Abigail Fowler (Paul), and Olivia Fowler, and a proud great-grandfather to Micah Ribeiro.Lee served his country honorably in the Marine Corps as a sharpshooter and radio operator. Following his service, he devoted over 50 years to pastoral ministry, touching countless lives in various churches with his compassion and wisdom. His legacy of faith, love, and service lives on in those he inspired and in the family who loved him deeply. He will be dearly missed.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church, 968 Village Highway, Rustburg, VA 24588.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Lee’s memory.
