Leon Dennis Joyce

Leon Dennis Joyce, Sr., 90, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2026. Leon was born to the late James Andrew Joyce and Mattie Pearl Joyce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and 4 sisters.

Leon is survived by wife Shelby Jeane Joyce of the home; daughters, Dennise Hundley of Salem, Virginia, and Kim LaFontaine (Javier) of Franklin, TN; sons, Leon Dennis “Dennie” Joyce, Jr. (Drema) of Fuquay Varina, NC and Izzy Maverick “Dylan” Joyce of Collinsville, VA; and grandchildren, Jason Elliott (Ashley) , Angela Hundley, Jamie Joyce (Alyssa), Christin Wilson, Kristina Smith (Hunter), and Meagan Gillis (David); and great-grandchildren, Nehemiah Olson, Madison Elliott, Jackson Elliott, McKenna Gillis, Calvin Elliott, Everly Gillis, Westin Elliott, Hudson Elliott, and Jett Smith.

A visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. The funeral will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. Burial will be private.
