Leona “Gail” Mundy, 68, of Bassett passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 20, 1954 in Martinsville to the late James N. Miles and the late Mary A. Harvell Miles. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Miles.
Gail is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Mundy; daughter, Lisa Joyce (Johnny); granddaughters, Kayla Walker, Kaysee Marshall, and Brooke Joyce; grandson, Tyler Joyce; sister, Dianne Stoneman (Lonnie); mother-in-law, Mildred N. Mundy and special friend and caregiver, Glenda Mitchell.
