Leroy "Lee" Clements

Leroy “Lee” Clements, 89, of Roanoke passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Fisher Clements; parents, William Henry and Katherine Sweeney Clements; and siblings, Elizabeth Graybill, Bill Clements, and Frances Gibson.

Lee was a salesman extraordinaire and never met a stranger. He had a long distinguished career in the Manufactured Housing industry. He was a former member of the Salem Kiwanis Club.

Surviving is his son, George Clements; companion Lee Garrett; siblings, Emanuel Clements and wife Teresa, Lora May Cunningham, Shelby Weeks, Gary Clements, Roger Clements, David Clements, and Lawanda Martin and husband Colin; special family, Lisa Garrett and her son Brandon; and friends too numerous to mention in addition to his Georges’ Flowers co-workers.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff on the 6th floor at Lewis Gale Medical Center and to the staff with Good Samaritan Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided during Lee’s illness.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Troy Mays. Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
