Leslie Lee Jarrells

Leslie Lee Jarrells, Jr. age 77, of Blacksburg died Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Montgomery County, Va., on May 9, 1948, to the late Leslie Lee, Sr. and Metabelle Smith Jarrells. He was also preceded in death by a son Anthony (Tony) Jarrells, and a sister, Shirley Jarrells Dickerson. Leslie owned and operated Texaco’s and auto repair shops all over the New River Valley. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, having traveled all over the country on them. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Linkous Jarrells; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jennifer Jarrells; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Brian Fleet; brother, David Jearls; grandchildren, Ryan, Alicia, Brittney, Katina, Kiley, Tyler, Katlyn, Logan, Kirsten, and Cody; 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Kurt Eschenman. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carilion Hospice and Carilion Home Health of the New River Valley. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Craig Reed and Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at McCoy Funeral Home.
