Lillian Aliff Farmer

Lillian Mae Aliff Farmer, 80, of Fieldale, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She was born on February 16, 1942, in West Virginia, to the late James Edward Aliff and Laura Emily Dalton Aliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gene Famer; her sisters, Jane Aliff Farmer, Clara Bell Aliff, and Annie Marie Aliff; as well as an infant brother and sister. She had been employed by Tultex Apparel in Martinsville, Virginia, for 17 years. She loved gospel music, traveling, quilting, and taking care of her family. Lillian is survived by her daughters, Genie Farmer Clifton, Teresa Farmer and Jennifer Farmer Lawson (Christopher); sister, Laura Ruth Aliff; brother James Aliff; grandson, Andrew Tyler Clifton (Brittany); three great-grandchildren, Andrew Tyler Clifton, Jr., Malachi Gage Clifton, and Trinity Haven Clifton; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 4:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Kelly Ratcliff officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.
