Lillie Kay Overton

Lillie Kay Overton, 73, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born October 14, 1950, in Axton, Virginia, to the late Reverend Samuel J. Overton and Virginia Overton.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ferguson, Linda Janney, and Dorkes Upton; and brother, Robert Overton.Kay was of the Holiness faith and dedicatedly managed Druid Lane Bowling for twenty years. She loved Coca-Cola, being in the sun and her dog, Thomas. Kay was very creative and enjoyed sewing and painting.She is survived by her brother, David Overton; and special sisters, Joyce Childress, Janice Childress, Ashley Childress and Betty Overton.The funeral will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Overton/Haley Cemetery at 983 Hobson Road, Axton, Virginia 24054. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
