Linda Ann Campbell Harris

Linda Ann Campbell Harris, 74, of Martinsville, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born December 13, 1948, to the late Johnny Wilson Campbell and Christine Walker Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Harter and Dannie Harris; sister, Renee Coleman; brothers, Charles Campbell, Jimmy Robertson, Bobby Robertson, and Pete Willis. Linda worked at Pannell Knitting Company for many years, and was a member of Kingdom Hall. She enjoyed cooking, loved to sew, and gardening her flowers and vegetables, and especially loved the Blue Ridge Mountains. Linda is survived by her two sons, Johnny William Harter and Vincent Wayne Harter (Susan); step-sons, Lon Harris; step- daughter, Carmen Harris; sisters, Rosie Tipold, Betty Stump, Frances White, Audrey Nester, Lisa Harmon, Marilyn Hall, Anita Eanes, Teresa Kirby, and Patty Turner; brother, Billy Robertson; grandchildren, Samuel Harter, Megan Harter, Devyn Harter, Samantha Harter, and Jade Stump; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall. Burial will be private at the family cemetery. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
