Linda Corbett

Linda Stacey King Corbett, age 60, of 4926 Johnson Creek Road, Covington, Virginia died on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her residence.

Stacey was born on July 18, 1965 in Alleghany County, Virginia to Pauline Naomi Thompson King and the late William Newcomb King. She was a retired medical transcriptionist for Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor, and enjoyed spending time with her family, bass fishing, and summer camping.

In addition to her mother, Pauline King of Covington, Stacey is survived by her son, Devin Corbett (Maddie) of Covington; a sister, Kitty King of Ruckersville; a brother, Willie King of Covington; a sister-in-law, Mary Johnson (Jerry) of Clifton Forge; two grandsons, Jack Corbett and Luke Corbett; and three nephews, Joe Coffman, Calvin Coffman, and Jeremiah Johnson.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Jack Voigt officiating. The family will visit friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Dunlap Fire and Rescue Department, 4115 Midland Trail, Covington, VA 24426.
