Linda Eagle Millner

Linda Eagle Millner, 71, a beloved wife and mother, sadly left this world unexpectedly on March 21, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born on September 17, 1953 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Leonard Eagle and Elsie Angus Jennings.

Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, blanket making, shopping, planting flowers, and taking care of her chickens. She was always up for a trip to Sam’s Club, Lowes or Tractor’s Supply. She also loved going on adventures with her daughters.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Melvin Lee Millner, Sr.; her two favorite children Bear and Beth; her children, Melvin “Lee” Millner, Jr., Tara Smith, Kimberly “Kimie” Lloyd (Joe), Laura Campbell (Robbie); 13 grandchildren, Misty Millner (Travis), Makeya Millner (Erica), Dakota Carpenter, Kirsten Millner, Hannah Branham, Kevin “KJ” Smith (Liz), Faith Atkinson (Tyler), Meredith Rosselot, Michael Rosselot (Alayna), Madison “Riley” Payne, Nicholas Payne, Kelsie Campbell, Van Campbell; seven great grandchildren; Aunt Edna Angus and Edna’s dog Sonny who were both near and dear to Linda’s heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
