Linda Faye Goins Taylor

Mrs. Linda Faye Goins Taylor, age 77, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on August 4, 1946 in Stokes County to the late Junior and Irene Lambert Goins. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, and son-in-law, Teresa Marshall (David), Jean Bottoms; son, Dean Bottoms; grandchildren, Carly Bottoms (Felix), Demi McGee (Tyler), Aaron Dickerson, Adrian Dickerson, and Sydney Marshall; sister, Margaret Cain; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie Goins (Pam); several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband Lester Roy Taylor. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Jason Johnson, Rev. David Joyce, and Dr. David Sparks. Burial will follow in Bryant Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 until the time for the service at the funeral home.
