Linda Faye (Holder) Burcham

Mrs. Linda Faye Holder Burcham, 82, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Burcham was born August 30, 1942, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Grover Madison and Flora Alice Chappell Holder. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Kit Wesley Burcham; daughter, Angela Kirsten Burcham; son, David Wesley Burcham; granddaughter, Eleanor Clark Burcham; sister, Gaynell Holder Nichols; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burcham was preceded in death by four brothers, Colon Holder, James Holder, Wayne Holder, and Aldine Holder. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Ivy Green Baptist Church with the Reverend Robert McCrary officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Eastern Star rites will be conducted by Round Peak Eastern Star # 377. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Ivy Green Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
