Linda Joyce Adkins, 72, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born January 17, 1952, in Danville, Virginia to the late Cleve Moore and Estele Parker Moore.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Geneva Smith (Robert) and Mini Edna Gibson (Oakley).Linda loved being around her grandchildren, they made her smile bigger than anything. She loved going out to eat and loved her friends in their neighborhood. She also really enjoyed visiting her sister in Chatham.She is survived by her husband, James Ashworth; son, Steve Rigney (Lisa); sister, Patsy Roach (Leroy), brother, Roger Moore (Bonnie); grandchildren, Crystal Bowman (Lonnie), Ashley Witcher, Michael Emerson, Amber Roberts (Carlton), Bridget Dodson (Rodnell), Brittany Hubbard, Tiffany Rigney; and nine great grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
