Linda Kay Johnson Robertson

Linda Kay Johnson Robertson, 79, of Woolwine, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born August 10, 1945, in Forsyth County to the late Floyd David and Lola Dyson Johnson. Mrs. Robertson was a loving wife, mother, nanny, sister and friend. She was a very talented seamstress, pastor's wife, and cherished member of the community. She loved to sing and play her tambourine and was a wonderful cook, nobody left her house without a meal. Her and her beloved husband also worked as co-truck drivers and took many trips to California. Left to cherish her memory is her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Robin Robertson; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Steven Bennett, and Diana and Barry Belcher; grandchildren, Paul and Alicia Robertson, Kala and Gabe Stahl, Dana and Ben Thompson, Jonathan and Kayla Wilmoth, Alex and Keevie Wilmoth, Austin and Sheila Bryant, Chandler Bryant, and Samantha Matthews; great grandchildren, Alaina Robertson, Isaac, Anna, John Dale and Noah Stahl, Hailey, Riley, and Callie Thompson, Rush, Nash, and Ripp Wilmoth, Carina and Kentley Wilmoth, Nathan and Emily Bryant, and Abel Bryant; extended step family of Diana and Barry Belcher, Jessica, Steven, Brittany, Christian, and Braxton Rakes, and Christy, Alan, and Cayleigh Harbour; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeannette Howell, Shirley Poole, Betty Spillman, and Nancy and Sharky Walser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Roger Lee Robertson; great grandchild, Knox Wilmoth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Harold Grinnell, Bonnie and Larry Hayes, Ray Howell, Junior Poole, and Bobby Spillman; and brother, Jackie Eugene Johnson. A funeral service will take place Sunday, September 29, 2024, at King Christian Center at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at King Christian Center from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. Mrs. Robertson will lie-in-state on Thursday at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. A burial service will take place after the funeral in the New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Robertson family.
