Linda Keyser
Mrs. Linda Burks Keyser, age 79, of Covington, died Friday, January 9, 2026, at The Woodlands Nursing Home and Rehab, Clifton Forge. She was the wife of Jack Keyser.
Mrs. Keyser was born December 30, 1946 in Clifton Forge, the daughter of the late Cecil M. Burks and Eveline Oyler Burks. She had been employed by the former Jane Colby and was a front desk supervisor for the former K-Mart for a number of years before her retirement. She was a longtime and active member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. She served her church as a member of the choir for a number of years. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed shopping, reading and traveling to numerous cities and countries with her husband and family.
In addition to her husband, Jack, Mrs. Keyser is survived by a step- daughter, Amanda Frame and husband, James of Covington; a granddaughter, Alissa J. Frame of Harrisonburg; a sister, Shelia B. Bryan and husband, Bruce of Covington; a sister-in-law, Teresa Taylor and husband, Larry; a brother-in-law, Kyle Keyser; and beloved dog, Jackson.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to the staff of the Woodlands Nursing Home for their wonderful care of Linda and the compassion shown to her family.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gilliland and Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:30 P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
