Linda Marian Wells Faughn

Linda Marian Wells Faughn, 84, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Pennsylvania on July 31, 1940 to the late Ella Buckingham Wells and the late Ralph Wells. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Mr. John Raymond Faughn.

Linda was of the Christian Faith and attended Lighthouse Bible Church. She worked for 23 years previous to her retirement as a bookstore manager at Goodwill Industries.

Linda is survived by a daughter; Mary Snead and husband Scott; a son; Jack Faughn and wife Megan; two sisters; Ella Moyes and Reba Petitt; two brothers; Ralph Wells and wife Vicki and David Wells; three grandchildren; Joseph Snead, Faith Hess (Lucas), and Evelyn Faughn.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was predeceased by a brother in law; Charlie Moyes.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the loving and caring staff at Roman Eagle Nursing Home, Northeast Wing, for the special care she received while there. Angel Wings also provided excellent care for her before she made her transition to the nursing home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2024 at 2:00pm, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Jack Faughn officiating. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 1-2:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.   At other times the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Mary Snead at 1824 John Drive, Danville, Va
