Linda Payne Blankenship

Linda L. Payne Blankenship, 72, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at her residence. She was born September 26, 1950, in Ridgeway, Virginia, to the late Clarence Haston Payne and Gertrude Horton Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Gregory; sisters, Peggy, Brenda, and Hazel; and brothers, Curtis and Eldridge. Linda attended Martinsville Church of Truth. She enjoyed shopping, cleaning, and gardening, and especially loved talking with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Nunn; son, Jack Viars; sisters, Carolyn, Lorraine, and Elizabeth; brothers, Mickey, Ralph, Ricky, and Kermit; grandchildren, Summer Gregory and Hannah Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Mason Mize and Madison Ashley. Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2023, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be private. Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
