Linda Secrest

Linda Ashby Secrest, 81, of Martinsville, VA passed away on March 1, 2025. She was born to the late John Junior Ashby and Mamie Minter Ashby. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by husband, Bobby Clayton Secrest; and son, Jeffrey Clayton Secrest.

Linda was a member of Good Home Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Keatts (Garland); son, Chad Everett Secrest (Liz); grandchildren, Sammy Parsons, Jeremiah Secrest, Jennifer Secrest, Bobby Secrest, John Keatts (Katie), Lilly Secrest, Atticus Secrest; great-grandchildren, Deserae Parsons, Scarlet Keatts, Sawyer Keatts, and Hunter Secrest; sister, Peggy Barnes; and nephew, Roger Barnes, Jr.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. A graveside service will be at Roselawn Burial Park Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Kenny Bowles officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and American Heart Association.
