Linda Snead Cousins

Linda Snead Cousins, 70, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on August 31, 1954 to the late Carlethia Garrett Snead and the late Tommy L. Snead Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Perry Lane Cousins.

Linda was of the Christian faith and a member of County Line Christian Church. Linda worked for over 20 years at Bassett Walker, and previous to her retirement, worked as a pharmacy technician for Kroger pharmacy.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by one daughter; Melinda Matthews and husband Danny; three sons; Steven L. Cousins, Harry T. Cousins, and David W. Cousins; seven grandchildren; Brittany, Brandon, Anthony, Amber, Katie, Calvin, and Joseph.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by two sisters; Sue S. Salmons and Vada Jo. Snead; and two brothers; Tommy Snead Jr. and Harold O. Snead.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00am, at County Line Christian Church, 12711 Chatham Road, Axton, VA 24054 officiated by Minister Dean Ashby. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 10-11:00am also at County Line Christian Church.
