Linda Viars Konorosky

Linda Konorosky, 76, transitioned from this earthly life Friday, June 20, 2025, in Ridgeway, Virginia. She was born on July 5, 1948, in Wythe County, Virginia, to the late Mabel Virginia Tate Viars and Herbie Haswell Viars.

Linda attended Rich Acres Christian Church and was of the Church of God faith. She attended Drewry Mason High School. Linda loved the simple things in life and was a joyful soul. She enjoyed attending the Autumn Leaves Festival in Mount Airy, North Carolina, every year in October. More than anything else, she loved spending time with her family and loved them dearly. Those who knew her well knew she had a firecracker personality which made her one of a kind.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Austin; sister, Joyce Irvine; grandchildren, Brandon Austin and Lindsay “Nikki” Penn; great-grandchildren, Savannah, A.J., and Mya; special friend, Danny Boothe; nephew, Michael Holland; fur baby, Pepper; additional cousins, extended family and friend

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
