Linda Wilborn Turner

Linda Wilborn Turner, 74, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Danville, VA on January 26, 1951 to the late Deloris Ganney Wilborn and the late Thomas Greene Wilborn. She is also survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Mr. Michael Lee Turner.

Linda was of the Christian Faith. She was a loving homemaker that loved her entire family. She also enjoyed her flowers, and crafts.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by three daughters; Donna Journigan, Ashley Turner, and Jennifer Barker; a sister; Vickie Wilborn; 13 grandchildren; Kayla Journigan, Cade Journigan, Kaihlyn Pyron, Fallon Hyatt, Gage Hundley, Laney Hyatt, Gracie Leonard, Lucius Leonard, Lyndee Collins, Corbin Hyatt, Leyson Collins, Brynlee Hyatt, and Henry Stowe; and two great grandchildren; Adrian Harriston and Kali Harriston.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by two sons; Ronald Journigan and Allen Journigan; and two brothers; Thomas Wilborn and Danny Wilborn.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00am at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6-7:30pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence. The family request, that in honor of Linda, bright colors be worn to the funeral service.
