Lindy Dawn CollinsApril 21, 1964 - January 6, 2024Lindy Dawn Collins, 59, of Martinsville, Virginia, lost her battle with Breast Cancer on January 6th at the home of her loving son and Daughter-in-law, Chad & Donna Collins.She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Monroe Collins (8/16/1993), her parents, Lenwood Ike (8/8/2020) & Colene Annie Fackler (7/13/2014) and brother Jeffrey Dewayne “Jeff” Fackler (6/13/2021).A proud graduate of Laurel Park High School, Lindy’s thirst for knowledge and love for technology led her to further her education at Patrick Henry Community College. In May 2012, she earned an associate degree in computer science, a testament to her dedication and hard work. Her career was marked by a passion for people and service, which showed brightly during her time at Arby’s and the Rock House, where she left an incredible mark on her colleagues and customers alike.She is survived by her 2 children, Son Chad Collins (Donna) of Ferrum and Daughter, Diana Collins (Chuck) of Ridgeway. 4 Grandchildren Deon, Sean, Brianna, and Liam Scales. Three sisters, Donna Byrd (Ricky) of Martinsville, Vickie McDaniel (Ricky) of Collinsville, and Kelly Fackler. Two brothers, Jerry Fackler (Mary) of Bassett and Barry Fackler (Cindy) of Collinsville.All Services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
