Lisa Dawn Gill

Lisa Dawn Gill, 56, of Martinsville, VA, passed away on May 16, 2025, at her home. Lisa was born on June 25, 1968, in Eden, North Carolina, to the late Ricky Cates and Brenda Crotts Robinson. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her father, Roger Robinson; step-mother Connie Cates; and step-brother Mike Aaron.

Lisa was a loving mother and supportive grandmother who selflessly gave to others. She was a generous friend who loved helping everyone. Lisa had a vast collection of gnomes and adored sunflowers. She was a valued member of the Osborne Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina.

Left to cherish the memories of Lisa are her husband, Bobby Gill; daughter, Megan Bayes; grandsons, Declan McCraw, Emory McCraw, and Tristan McCraw; brothers, Mark Cates and Lee Martin; mother-in-law, Janice Gill; step-brother’s, Butch Robinson (Diane), Brian Aaron, and Jason Aaron; step-sister’s, Jill Richardson (Kirby) and Angie Mayhew (Russell); niece, Chelsea Moss (Chris); nephew, Christopher Meadows; bonus daughters, Lauren Graves (Chauncey) and Brittany Dalton; and special fur baby, Chester.

A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2025, at the home of Megan Bayes, 759 Indian Trail, Martinsville, VA 24112.
