Lois Christine Adkins

Lois Christine Adkins, age 90, of Chatham, Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Adkins was born on December 18, 1935, to the late Gillie Gibson Keesee and William Henry Keesee.

Mrs. Adkins is survived by 6 children, Rhonda Anderson, Ralph Adkins, Jeffrey Adkins, Tammy Hammock, Shannon Adkins, and Tonya Gauldin; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, with one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her late husband, Wiley Samuel Adkins; 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

A graveside service for Mrs. Adkins will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1181 Museville Rd., Chatham, VA, with Robbie Divers officiating.
