Lois Gardner White

Lois Jacqueline Gardner White fell asleep in death on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1933 to Samuel and Mattie Maria Gardner of Darien, Georgia.

She is survived by her children, Keith White (Sherry), Kimberly Walker (Clyde), Timothy White (Natalie), Melanie Homer, and Robert White (Georgia); daughter-in-law, Sharon White; grandchildren, Leeanna White, Ashley White, Jordan White (Leah), Ottilia Lewis (Bryan), Matthew White (Wenddy), and Emily Pineda (Taylor); great granddaughter, Madeline Lewis; brother, R.D. Gardner (Lavern); sister, Irma Kicklighter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, George White; son, Gary White; and several siblings.

Lois was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed sharing her faith and love of the Bible with people in her community over the course of 70 years. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was known for warm hospitality and displayed love and friendship to all she met.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 3359 Colonial Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24018. The Zoom Meeting ID is 910 2176 7944 with the password of 1914 .
