Lois Kincaid

Lois Virginia Cauley Kincaid, age 97, of the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center, Low Moor and formerly of Hot Springs, Virginia died Monday, April 28, 2025 at her residence.

She was born November 23, 1927 in Bellepoint, West Virginia to the late George Wallace Cauley and Evelyn Lena Smith Cauley. She was a homemaker throughout her life. In her later years, she enjoyed providing at home senior care for many families. Lois loved to garden, cook and read. She was a lover of all animals and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyril L. Kincaid, Sr. and her second husband, John Abbott; her siblings, Calvin Cauley, Hazel Harms, Harold Cauley, Madeline Hock, Anita Tedeschi, James Cauley, Carl Cauley and Leroy Cauley.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Laury (Ken) of Lynchburg, VA; a son, Cyril L. Kincaid, Jr. (Bernie) of California; a sister, Betty Lewis of Florida; five grandchildren, Jeff Laury, Deanna Ronk, Kari Boyer, Michael Laury, Staci Summers; fifteen great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. No formal services are scheduled.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Brian Center, Low Moor for their care and compassion during her time there.
