Loraine Ingram Weaver

April 5, 1929 - June 28, 2024

Loraine Ingram Weaver, affectionately known as “Grandma Weaver,” entered her heavenly home on June 28, 2024, at the age of 95. Waiting to welcome her with open arms was her beloved husband of 66 years, Garland Winford Weaver, who preceded her in death in 2015.

Grandma Weaver was the cherished matriarch of the Weaver family, a role she held with love and grace. After lovingly serving the Lord at the Tree of Life Ministries on Sundays, she gathered with her family for a delightful lunch and heartfelt fellowship. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Garland Winford Weaver, Jr. (Kathy) and Ricky James Weaver (Pam), and her daughter-in-law, Terri N. Weaver. Grandma Weaver was especially proud of her six grandchildren: RJ Weaver (Laurie), Laurie W. Miller (Josh), Brad Weaver, Nick Weaver (Heather), Brent Weaver (Melissa), and Tyler Weaver (Lauren). Her twelve great-grandchildren, Conner, Ashton, Brody, Ian, Hollyne, Caroline, Brantley, Corbin, and Easton Weaver, and Anderson, Sue, and Alexander Miller, brought special joy into her life.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Highland Burial Park, officiated by Tom and Ava Terhune, missionaries to Colombia. The family will receive friends at the residence, 213 April Lane, Danville, Virginia 24540.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Mt. Hermon Fire and Rescue, 4268 Franklin Tpke., Danville, VA.
