Ms. Lorene Moore Mahone, age 85, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Hugh Chatham memorial Hospital. She was born May 4, 1937, in Surry County North Carolina. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Carol Davis of Lexington NC; and her friends at Dunmore plantation. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Mahone family.
