Loretta D. King

Loretta D. King, 88, of Roanke accepted her heavenly promotion on June 19.

She was the daughter of the late George and Rhoda Dutton of Clintwood, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 year James N. King, great-grandsons Noah R. Byers and Cory A. Argenbright. As well as numerous brother and sisters.

She was employed by IT&T before retiring in 1996.  She was a past member of Hollins Road Church of the Brethern and Poages Mill Church of the Brethern.  For the past 11 years she had resided in South Carolina with her daughter.

She is survived by the son Dennis (Judy) King of Roanoke, VA. Her daughter Roben (William) Argenbright of Harleyville, SC.  Grand sons, Michael (Nicole) King, Andrew (Laura) King and William H. (Bethany) Argenbright of Holly Ridge, NC.  Grand daughters Kimberely (Anthony) Byers of Calloway, VA and Whitney (Richard) Bruce of Roanoke, VA.  She has 17 great-grand children.  Special neices Darlene (Casey) Jones of Rogersville, TN and Susan King of Salem, VA, Lois Rose of Mansfield, OH.

Visitation will be at Lotz Salem Chapel on Thursday, June, 22 from 6-9 pm.  Services will be at Lotz Salem Chapel on Friday June, 23 at 2 pm. Followed by a brief grave side service.  Dr. Anthony Byers will officiate.
