Louis Anthony D'Amore Obituary It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Louis D’Amore, age 65 of Salem, Virginia, on December 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving Virginian family in his new home. Born in Brooklyn, Louis had a passion for helping people and touched countless lives through his lifelong career in healthcare. Once he retired, that helping hand extended towards family and friends, always ready to be that listening ear and shoulder to lean on. He is survived by his brother Paul, sister-in-law Rose, their children, and grandchildren. Those of us grieving who he left behind take comfort in knowing he has joined his mother, Caroline, his father, Anthony, his grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, who joyfully welcomed him to heaven. Although we grieve, we are also comforted by knowing Louis is finally free from all pain.
