Lynette Giver Morrison

Lynnette Giver Morrison, age 86 of Collinsville passed away Friday, August 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Morrison Jr.; parents, John and Kathryn Giver; and brother, John P. Giver, Jr. Surviving are her sons, Donald Morrison (Mary) and Kenneth Morrison (Eugenia); two grandchildren, Megan Morrison and Bryce Morrison; sister, Chaleen Battaglia (Joe); and nieces and nephews. She was a devout Catholic and a dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rocky Mount, Virginia. A graveside service for Woodrow and Lynette will be conducted at Mt Zion cemetery in Penhook, Virginia at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mulberry Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the outstanding care that Lynette received during her time there.
