Lynn L. McDonaldson

Lynn McDonaldson, 70, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at her residence. She was born February 22, 1953 in Virginia, to the late John B. McDonaldson and Mary Bell Long McDonaldson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Allen F. McDonaldson.She graduated from high school, and enjoyed saltwater fishing. She worshipped the ground her granddaughter, Candace, walked on, and she was a happy-go-lucky person. Her favorite place to eat was Captain George’s in Williamsburg.Lynn is survived by her spouse, Oberta McDonaldson of Colonial Heights, Virginia; her daughter, Sharon Beam (Darrell); step-daughter, Jamie L. Driggs; sister, Teresa Dellinger; special granddaughter, Candace Martin; granddaughter, Caitlyn Driggs;grandson, Wyatt Driggs; special great-grandson, Teagan Beam; great-granddaughter, Isabella Nicole; special friend, Sue Forrest; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, very good friends; and her dogs, Sadie and Lucy.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
