Mae Bower Webber

Mae Bower Webber 85 of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.She was born on September 25, 1939, daughter of the late Ralph and Maude Bower.We will remember her spirited personality. If she had an opinion about something, whether good or bad, she would make sure you knew it. She was stubborn to a fault, but showed her love with greeting cards and long phone calls. She loved her grandchildren, watching the deer from her living room window, and “gallivanting” before her health slowed her down. We find comfort knowing she is finally at peace.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “JE” Webber, Jr.; two brothers, Edward Bower and Dennis Bower as well as two sisters, Ruth Wynn and Louise Brooks.Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Vickey L. Webber; two sons, Darrel Webber and wife Vicky and Scott Webber; two sisters, Eloise Floyd and Marie Miear as well as four grandchildren, Megan, Britney, Tyler and Nik.The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor David Turner officiating.
