Malcolm Dale "Mack" Roach

Malcolm Dale “Mack” Roach, Sr., age 78 of Chatham, VA passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Roach was born September 20, 1944, in Pittsylvania County to the late Doris Boswell Roach and the late Roy Roach, Sr. He was married to Jeanette Riddle Roach.

He was a member of Mill Creek Community Church and was the owner and operator of Twin Oaks Upholstery. He will always be remembered as a kindhearted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife of the residence, he is survived by one daughter, Susan R. Hurley and her husband Barry of Blairs, one son, Malcolm Dale Roach, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Chatham, his grandchildren, Avery Norton, Blake Norton, Mason Roach, and Emmett Roach, one sister, Trudy R. Johnson of Danville, two brothers, Larry Roach and his wife Ann of Gretna, and David Roach and his wife Jackie of Midlothian, his grand dogs, Princess and Gage, and his many special friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Roach was also predeceased by his sister, Delores R. Motley, and his brother, Roy Roach, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Chatham Chapel with Pastor Darrell Campbell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Burial Park, Chatham, VA. At other times, the family will be receiving friends and family at the residence.
